A herd of cattle wandering around the camping area, they left at sundown.

While driving here we saw smoke in the distance, when we arrived the surrounding area was burnt out, and the wind was blowing away from us, decided to stay. Met a couple of other campers, and we made a pact if any of us saw the fire flaring up again wake the others, leaving the van hooked up and ready for immediate departure (safety).

Had a beer and a talk with the guys, when darkness arrived we saw some trees (100M away) sending sparks in the air. Didn’t sleep that well, kept waking up looking at the area,

It is still very hot 39 degrees today, set up the Generator for air conditioning in the van. Found out that when full of fuel it lasts 4.5 hours, stopped at 7:30 pm.
