Kerian Cable beach
Lighthouse Gantheaume Point
Broome – Cable Beach Sunset Picnic
Up at 7am ready for the day, tourist stuff today and shops
Went out to the lighthouse Gantheaume Point, supposed to be some dinosaur tracks and a pool made by the first light house keeper, didn’t find either!
The point though was very nice with great turquoise views of the ocean and sand stone rocks sculptured by the wind and rain. Took some photos.
Next off the cable Beach for a look and pick a spot for our picnic tonight, should be good.
Into town and Woolworths for some picnic tucker for tonight, ran out of hot chickens so cold selection of meats, cheese, pickles, sourdough rolls. All washed down with Omni wine and perhaps a beer for Merv (Merv driving).
Off to Cable beach at 4:30 for a spot and sunset due at 5:23.
Very good grassed area and no people standing in front of us.
Lovely sunset while having a drink. Took lots of photos.
Dinner
- Cold meats
- Ham
- Silverside
- Seasoned Pork
- Polony
- Selection of cheeses
- Dips
- Woolworths coleslaw (only Merv had this as I dropped it on the grass oops)
- Sour dough rolls
Sit and enjoy the cool evening and no wind.
Eagles are playing so keeping at eye on the score via my mobile.
Back to camp
Next door is the speedway and that is on tonight, a bit of noise from the high pitch engines, all Ok though
Watched the Crows win via delayed telecast.
